Welcome!
Because I do not like to stare at a blank blog, I am extending a hearty welcome to any and all who might come across this little project. More posts will appear as the details of the project are outlined to me.
This blog is being created to fulfill curriculum of the GNRL 271 Teaching with Web 2.0 Technology at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
I cannot say how my fascination with comic creation began. Growing up I could never draw very well, which begets a certain level of frustration when trying to tell a story largely through pictures. But the act of storytelling in a serial format is perhaps what drove my interest. And so, Mushroom Man, the story of Mush the mushroom, was born when I was in 4th grade. And though free time and passion waivered, I have come back to create multiple iterations of Mush throughout my life. This is the story of the latest such iteration. By committing myself to blogging about the topic, my goal is to develop and publish a comic strip in Carthage College's newspaper, The Current.
This is a blog about comics. This is a blog about creating my own comics. This is a blog about reading other comics.
But at its forefront, this is a blog about a little mushroom, named Mush.
